No more free wood mulch

I'm saddened that the City of Madison is discontinuing its free wood mulch program. It was a great way to recycle all the wood trimmed from city trees.

    You can still get free mulch but you have to pick it up yourself. There is only one site and I think it closes at 2:30pm.

    The city decided the sell the mulch to offset costs so the trees will still be recycled but instead of being free, the city will be making some money.
